In-Service Engineer M/F

Job Description

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an In‑Service Engineer (f/m) to join our In‑Service Engineering department based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a team developing innovative engineering services and supporting global airline operations. As part of the Cabin & Cargo Systems team, you will provide technical solutions that aim at safely returning aircraft into service and increasing airline autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate troubleshooting assistance to global customers to safely return aircraft into service.
• Identify and propose solutions to increase airline autonomy, reducing down‑time and maintenance costs.
• Monitor system performance, investigate root causes of emerging issues, and launch corrective actions.
• Act as the voice of the customer in new product developments and system modifications to ensure deliverables are customer‑oriented.
• Propose and develop innovative engineering services, including on‑site assistance and workshops.

Qualifications

• Significant knowledge in aeronautics or in the airline business and operations.
• Strong technical expertise in aircraft systems (e.g., Supplemental Cooling, Equipment and Furnishings, Fire Protection, Ice/Rain Protection, Oxygen, or Water/Waste).
• Excellent coordination skills to interface with customers, design offices, vendors, and internal departments.
• High autonomy with the ability to quickly adapt to constantly changing priorities.
• Competency in English.
