Job Title: Implementation Project Director - Contract Logistics Location: Paris or Lyon, France

Overview

An international leader in integrated logistics solutions is seeking an Implementation Project Director to drive the successful delivery of large-scale, complex contract logistics implementations across Europe. Operating at the forefront of supply chain innovation, this organization partners with global customers to design and execute highly tailored logistics solutions across multiple industries.

This is a high-impact leadership role, responsible for orchestrating end-to-end project delivery—from solution validation through to operational go-live—ensuring excellence in execution, client satisfaction, and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end implementations of contract logistics projects, including warehousing, distribution, and value-added services
  • Oversee multi-site, international rollouts , ensuring alignment across operations, engineering, IT, and commercial teams
  • Drive governance and delivery excellence , managing timelines, budgets, risks, and performance metrics
  • Act as the senior point of contact for key clients , building trusted relationships and ensuring expectations are exceeded
  • Translate solution design into operational reality , working closely with Solution Design, Engineering, and IT teams
  • Lead cross-functional project teams , both internally and externally, fostering collaboration and accountability
  • Mitigate risks proactively and manage change requests in a structured and commercially aware manner
  • Ensure smooth transition to operations , embedding sustainability, efficiency, and continuous improvement from day one

Your Profile

  • Proven experience leading large-scale implementation or transformation projects within contract logistics / supply chain / 3PL environments
  • Strong track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder programmes , ideally across multiple geographies
  • Solid understanding of warehouse operations, automation, and supply chain solutions
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
  • Commercially aware with experience managing budgets, contracts, and client expectations
  • Fluent in French and English (essential)
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrix environment with high levels of autonomy
