ICT Program Director

Overview

We are looking for an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Program Director (PD) who will lead a number of projects in the CSS (Cloud Software Services) Core Networks and Mission Critical Networks domain aiming to achieve scope, time, cost, and quality targets in alignment with internal stakeholder agreements. The PD will ensure product/service contracts are delivered to satisfaction of the customer and Ericsson, record project details, clarify scope, secure resources, and plan and monitor activities. Depending on category and complexity, the PD will be an active participant in the project governance group and engage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build a strong Customer Relationship at C-Level (IT, Engineering, Marketing, Finance etc.), becoming a sort of Ericsson "agent" to increase the customer’s trust in Ericsson as a Partner.
• Manage operational relationships with the customer, arranging meetings, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Be responsible for contract fulfillment, establish the program organization, the project plan baseline, clarify scope, and secure vital resources at the right cost level while supervising all activities.
• Manage conflicts and critical issues within a program.
• Manage program scope and change requests meticulously, ensuring all changes are assessed for impact, approved through proper governance, and fully documented with supporting evidence to maintain transparency and audit readiness.
• Work closely with the account team during presales, responsible for contract execution strategy, cost estimations, time and resource planning.
• Support organizational set‑up and growth; be a main contributor to the Professional Service culture growth, delivery methodology fine‑tuning, and harvesting the best practices from the programs driven.
• Provide strong leadership to drive cross‑functional teams and program success.
• Handle project finance: ensure financial system monitoring.
• Drive improvement activities related to risk assessments and risk management.
• Actively seek to improve top and bottom lines, managing project finances and identifying and driving add‑on sales opportunities.
• Mentor the project team and support their professional growth.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Proven track record in leading large Transformation Programs in Operators within ICT, Core Networks domains.
• Mission Critical Networks knowledge and experience.
• Demonstrable experience: substantial successful project and/or program manager deliveries; or equivalent leadership role within ICT sector.
• Domain and technology experience: Core Networks and Mission Critical Networks.
• Areas of Expertise: 5G Core, Mission Critical solutions for all MCN verticals, IMS, Cloud.
• Certification: PMI© project manager certification (PMP) or equivalent.
• Proven problem‑solving skills and good in written & spoken communication.
• Customer focused and desire to understand business and customer needs.
• Professional attitude with solid ability to prioritize, manage time and deliver results.
• Good team player with high interpersonal skills.
• Strong Leadership Skills are required.
• Proficiency in English and French.
