Responsibilities

• Prepare, assist, and follow patients before, during, and after surgical interventions in close collaboration with the operating team.
• Ensure the implementation of hygiene, safety, and sterilization measures in the operating environment.
• Participate in the organization of operating blocks (patient set‑up, logistics, medical devices, anticipation of needs).
• Contribute to continuous improvement of procedures, operative risk management, and overall care quality.
• Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary teams (surgery, anesthesia, sterilization, hygiene) and ensure necessary handovers.
• Act as a thoughtful interlocutor with patients and families, guaranteeing clear, reassuring, respectful communication.
• Participate in the training, evaluation, and support of nursing staff or trainees in the operating room as required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a state diploma of nursing (IDE) specialized in operating room.
• Experience in an operating room setting is preferred.
