ICB - Garant Montage Tuyauteries et Equipements Auxiliaires (EMx) F/H

Within the IBC Business Line responsible for new nuclear project construction, the Garant Montage Tuyauteries et Equipements Auxiliaires (EMx) supports the technical direction by managing the standard system from engineering to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the standard system for auxiliary piping and equipment (prefabrication, assembly, and installation) for nuclear projects (EPR1, EPR2, EPR1200, SMR…).
• Update and manage the reference of codes and applicable standards for the system.
• Develop system configurations to balance stakeholder satisfaction and operational compliance.
• Plan industrialisation: manufacturing, assembly, installation, and transition to operational environment.
• Provide expert support to IBC and project teams on variant selection, advocating for standardized solutions over project-specific developments.
• Participate in Key System Reviews and contribute to continuous improvement by capturing and analysing REX from projects.

Qualifications

• Engineering or technical background in mechanical engineering.
• Experience in engineering activities for large-scale projects.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in piping or equipment assembly and integration, preferably in nuclear construction.
• Knowledge of welding processes and non-destructive testing.
• Understanding of system engineering and related SI/PLM tools.
• Soft skills: pragmatism, active listening, cross‑functional animation, autonomy, determination, rigor.

Additional Skills

• Experience in petrochemical, energy, or complex industrial environments.
• Knowledge of HSE standards and environmental regulations.

Location

Based in Lyon or Chalon-sur-Saône with regular travel between the two sites and to Paris.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience.
• Operational English.
