HW/SW Co-Design Research Engineer for Manycores - Gem5 / Computer Architecture / Memory
We're currently on the lookout for newly qualified PhD or Masters graduates or someone with some industry experience, with knowledge in areas such as computing architecture simulations and memory for a global technology giant in France.
A true leader in research, development, and innovation, this global technology powerhouse invests heavily into R&D to make huge technological advancements in various sectors.
In this position, you will be working on hardware/software co design for many-core chips, working on hardware component modelling and integrating into simulation environments and you will also design device drivers and libraries in C.
This is a full-time 12 month CDD contract based on-site in Paris, France. There is a high possibility of it extending.
For this HW/SW CoDesign Engineer for Manycores position, I'm interested in speaking to you if you have the following:
- Masters or PhD degree with 0-5 years experience.
- Previous experience with GEM5 would be ideal.
- Knowledge about memory architectures and how they are managed by the OS.
- Understanding about memory coherence.
- C or C++ language proficiency.
