Key Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the networks and individual components of the SCADA level, which are used in the control systems for high‑voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission projects.
• You are responsible for the commissioning of the mostly TCP‑based network infrastructure and the maintenance and monitoring of the HMI concept, as well as its adaptation to specific requirements.
• In addition, with responsibility for time synchronization and the local and remote signal converters, you serve as the interface to all other participating signal providers.
• You plan and conduct training sessions on network/HMI/signal converters for our internal employees and external customers.
• Finally, you will support the other commissioning components and the after‑sales team in troubleshooting and testing communication interfaces and in maintaining the interoperability of the various systems.
• Supporting the commissioning management team in quality, risk, and claim management.
• Participating in improvement programs (including Lean, reviews, and lessons learned).

Work Experience & Qualifications

• Completed degree in electrical engineering or several years of practical professional experience in systematically troubleshooting complex electrical and/or electronic systems.
• An affinity for working with and on computers, as well as basic knowledge of programming and process visualization, are required.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems, domains, and an understanding of IT security are required.
• You have good English skills. Additional language skills are highly desirable.

Willingness to travel internationally and undertake assignments lasting several months at construction sites both domestically and abroad, with the option of assignments on offshore platforms.
