Job Description
Under general direction, the HR Shared Services Specialist executes and supports HR operations activities across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers, providing high-quality support and resolving inquiries related to HR processes, and systems. The Specialist partners closely with HR Business Partners, Finance, and other Centers of Excellence areas to ensure seamless processing of employee data and lifecycle transactions, while maintaining data integrity across HR systems. Additionally, this role contributes to continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements, supporting standardization efforts, and helping drive an efficient, consistent, and positive employee experience. This position reports the status of all projects and initiatives to their leader.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Processes employee lifecycle transactions such as hires, terminations, and data changes
- Maintains accurate employee records in HR systems
- Ensures HRIS data accuracy
- Supports payroll processing and resolve discrepancies
- Responds to employee inquiries related to HR processes and policies
- Maintains compliance and audit documentation
- Partners with HR and other Center of Excellence to support daily operations
- Supports reporting and reconciliations
- Identifies and implement process improvements
- Ensures policy compliance
- Acts as a subject matter resource for HR Shared Services
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of experience in HR operations or Shared Services
- 1-3 years of experience with HRIS systems
- Proficiency in English and French of the country or region supported, including strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs
- Strong communication skills in both verbal and in writing
- Organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a Global HR Shared Services team
Work Environment
- The role will be performed in a manufacturing setting with frequent exposure to equipment and machinery.
- May require occasional travel between plant locations and corporate offices.
- Flexibility to work in both an office and a plant environment is required.
This is an SWM contract.
