HR GENERALIST – PARIS

TOM FORD FASHION is looking for an HR Generalist to join its HR team in Paris, supporting the Design Studio as well as the Global and Corporate functions of the brand.

The selected candidate will play a key role in managing HR activities for the assigned employee population, ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and processes, and providing reliable and proactive support to both employees and management.

This role requires a hands‑on and detail‑oriented professional with a solid understanding of French labor law, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and international luxury environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the HR activities for the Paris Design Studio and the Global and Corporate functions of the brand, ensuring consistent and effective HR support to employees and managers.
• Provide day‑to‑day HR support, addressing employee requests and advising managers on HR‑related matters throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with French labor law and local HR regulations, monitoring legislative developments and supporting the business in the correct application of applicable requirements.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employment contracts, amendments, employee records, offboarding, and other HR administrative procedures.
• Oversee HR documentation and personnel administration, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and local regulations.
• Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures and initiatives.
• Work closely with the HR Manager and the wider HR team to address employee relations matters, support organizational needs, and ensure the effective management of the assigned population.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and other departments to ensure smooth HR operations, effective communication, and efficient coordination of HR processes.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar HR role, preferably gained within the fashion or luxury industry.
• Solid knowledge of French labor law and local HR regulations, with the ability to apply legal requirements accurately and pragmatically in day‑to‑day HR activities.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills. Italian is considered a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with employees, managers, and internal stakeholders at different organizational levels.
• Excellent organizational skills, with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• A hands‑on, pragmatic, and solution‑oriented approach, with the ability to handle HR matters independently and efficiently.
• Strong administrative and analytical skills, ensuring accuracy and consistency in HR documentation and processes.
• Ability to work effectively in an international and fast‑paced environment, demonstrating flexibility, discretion, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work closely with the HR team and other business functions.
