HR Transformation Consultant (French Employment Law & Restructuring)

Location: Remote, France (occasional travel if required)

Contract Length: 3 Months Initial Contract (high potential of extension)

We are supporting a leading international life sciences organisation undergoing a significant period of organisational transformation and are seeking an experienced HR Transformation Consultant to support restructuring activity across France.

This role requires a specialist HR professional with extensive experience managing reorganisations, restructures, collective consultation processes, and French employment law matters. You will partner closely with HR and business leaders to deliver workforce transformation initiatives while ensuring compliance with French labour legislation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support organisational restructures and reorganisation programmes across France.
• Manage collective consultation processes and workforce change initiatives.
• Provide expert guidance on French employment law and employee relations matters.
• Partner with senior stakeholders on organisational design and workforce planning activities.
• Work closely with employee representative bodies and other key stakeholders.
• Support communications and engagement activities throughout periods of organisational change.
• Conduct formal employee meetings and provide day-to-day HR support during transformation programmes.
• Ensure all activities are delivered in compliance with French regulatory requirements.
• Fluent French and English.
• Significant experience leading organisational restructures and reorganisation programmes in France.
• Strong understanding of French employment law and labour regulations.
• Proven experience managing collective consultation processes, social plans, and workforce change programmes.
• Experience working with employee representative bodies and labour relations matters.
• Ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or other highly regulated industry experience.
• Experience working within international or matrix organisations.
• Previous involvement in large-scale transformation programmes.
