Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Human Resources Business Partner role based in Grenoble. The HR Business Partner will work closely with local leadership and managers to translate business objectives into effective people strategies and initiatives. Daily responsibilities include advising on employee relations matters, supporting performance management cycles, and ensuring consistent application of HR policies and practices. The role will also involve partnering on workforce planning, recruitment needs, and talent development activities aligned with organizational goals. In addition, the HR Business Partner will help maintain compliance with labor and employment regulations, contribute to HR process improvement, and support engagement, inclusion, and change management initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) practices, with the ability to act as a strategic partner to leaders and teams.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies that align with business objectives and organizational values.
  • Demonstrated capability in managing employee relations, including coaching managers, resolving issues, and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Knowledge of labor and employment law, with experience applying legal and regulatory requirements in day-to-day HR decisions.
  • Proficiency in performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, development planning, and performance reviews.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
  • Experience working in a technical, engineering, or manufacturing environment and familiarity with a global or matrix organization is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English and French, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Proactive, data-informed approach to HR decision-making and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
