Overview
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Project HSE Management Consultant to support the delivery of a major deepwater offshore oil & gas development.
Working within a high-profile international project team, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of the Project HSE Management System, ensuring the highest standards of safety, environmental stewardship and risk management throughout project execution.
This position offers exposure to a complex offshore development involving drilling, subsea infrastructure, FPSO facilities and a large international contractor network.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Project HSE Management System.
- Coordinate HSE objectives, action plans and performance reviews.
- Promote a strong HSE culture and visible leadership across project teams.
- Support management in driving safety performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate HSE committee meetings, leadership tours and contractor engagement activities.
- Monitor HSE performance across project packages and contractors.
- Participate in incident investigations and ensure effective lessons learned processes.
- Coordinate HSE reporting activities and KPI monitoring.
- Maintain incident and action tracking systems.
- Participate in HSE audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
- Support environmental performance initiatives and emissions reduction programmes.
- Identify training needs and coordinate HSE training programmes.
Requirements
- Significant experience within Oil & Gas, Energy or Major Capital Projects.
- Previous experience as:
- Project HSE Manager
- HSE Lead
- HSEQ Manager
- HSSE Manager
- Senior HSE Advisor
- Proven background supporting large-scale offshore developments.
- Experience on EPC, EPCI, FPSO, Subsea, Drilling or Deepwater projects.
- Strong contractor HSE management experience.
- Knowledge of incident investigation, auditing, reporting and risk management processes.
- Experience using Synergi or similar HSE reporting systems is advantageous.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fluent English is essential.
