About our client Our client, a leading European private equity firm, is seeking to hire a HR & Talent Director to be based in either its London or Paris office. The firm invests globally through two core strategies across a range of industries and has a well-established track record of success. As part of its continued growth and upcoming strategic initiatives, the firm is focusing on growing its people function and is now looking to make a senior hire in the shape of this role. The position will lead on all HRBP and Talent & Development responsibilities across the firm UK and central European offices. What the job involves As the HR & Talent Director, you will be part of a small, high-performing HR team. The role combines both HRBP responsibilities as well as taking the lead on all talent management & development, requiring a broad skill set with both a strategic and hands on approach, working in partnership with stakeholders at all levels. This is a growth role within the organisation, offering the autonomy to shape and develop the position as you see fit.
- Act as HR Business Partner for specific populations across central Europe, advising managers on day-to-day HR matters
- Lead HR projects across Talent Management, L&D and HR policy
- Drive the digitalisation and continuous improvement of Talent Management processes, including AI initiatives
- Develop and manage L&D programmes and manager training initiatives
- Lead projects across succession, performance management, recruitment, off boarding, D&I and well being
- Own post-Engagement Survey action plans and employee feedback initiatives
- Manage complex employee matters, including feedback, disciplinary issues and exits, alongside end-to-end recruitment and on boarding
- Act as a key contact for Paris-based EAs, ensuring consistency of practices and proactively resolving people-related issues
- Previous hands-on HR experience gained within the financial or professional services sector
- Strong knowledge and experience in Talent & Development initiatives
- Previous experience within private equity would be advantageous but not essential
- Strong project management skills and proven delivery
- Fluent in both spoken and written French
- Willingness to travel regularly
