HR Manager - France
Overview
As HR Manager for the French market, you will lead People initiatives for Affinity Petcare in France, adapting the global HR strategy to local priorities and business context. As part of a matrix organization, you will act as a key partner to the Country General Manager, supporting the implementation of the HR strategy across the French market. You will be responsible for driving and executing HR programs and initiatives for the Topline, Finance, and HR teams, while ensuring alignment and consistency across the local perimeter in coordination with Affinity Operations. Within our international HR team, you will collaborate closely with global HR functions such as Talent, Internal Communication, and Compensation & Benefits, as well as with peers across Spain, France, and the UK. Responsibilities
- General Manager co-pilot and member of Country Leadership Team
- Create, organize and implement employee’s development initiatives aligned with Human Resources Strategy
- Encourage Affinity’s culture implementing engagement programs and championing best in class employee experience
- Support the implementation at local level of the Employer Branding strategy defined at global level
- Support managers with the evaluation, development plans, and goal setting needs for their teams
- Implement People Strategy for France and play an active role driving people agenda
- As an expert on Labor relations you will ensure a smooth relationship with employees and representatives, scale-up and manage the teams to deliver all people processes, from onboarding to exit, support and provide guidance to employees on day to day HR topics
- Manage work council’s relationships and implement regulations of collective agreement and participate in the social animation Milano site, advise the managers, guarantee the social climate, participate in negotiations and agreements
- Follow up HR KPIs and detect improvement opportunities and definition of action plans. Ensure the consistency of the dashboards and the monitoring of HR indicators
- Ensure perfect compliance with local legislation and regulations, manage relations with the various local authorities, ensure legal monitoring (changes in the company's environment and legislation)
- Recruitment: source the organization with high caliber staff, ensuring timing and profile searched are accomplished
- Advise and support the management teams in the management of their activities
- Training plan: validation of needs, ensuring qualitative follow-up of actions, analyzing satisfaction evaluations, proposing areas for improvement and participating in the development of the action plan
- Talent cycle: through the annual review campaign, define the internal promotions, skills development plan and lead career management, collaborate with Global Talent Team to ensure annual review process and ensure accomplishment of actions plans
- Encourage Affinity’s culture supporting engagement to shape an employee experience that attracts and retains the best talents
- Identify potential blockers in our processes, ensure continuous improvement, and suggest automation where needed
- Provide information to the managers with the salary planning process according to the C&B Strategy defined and guidelines provided from the Headquarter
- Continuously seek for new innovative ideas, opportunities and areas of improvement with the aim of increasing company growth
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years working experience in a similar position, preferably in FMCG and start-ups
- University degree
- Post-grade in HR field will be valued
- Strong knowledge & previous Labour Relations experience
- General business knowledge and understanding of Business metrics
- Fluent in French and English. Other languages will be valued
