HR Generalist
Axis has something great to offer! An exciting and professional challenge in our Bagneux (Paris) office in France. We are now looking for our new colleague to fill the opening as HR Generalist in France. The position is a maternity cover until end of February.
What will you do?
The HR Generalist is a key partner to both employees and managers, overseeing a wide range of HR functions. From day-to-day administration and employee relations to strategic projects and talent development, the HR Generalist is instrumental in fostering a positive and productive work environment that aligns with our company culture and values.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Administration & Operations
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle, from drafting employment contracts and offer letters to managing the offboarding process.
- Oversee the onboarding and integration of new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
- Act as the main point of contact for our payroll provider, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for all countries within the scope.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HRIS.
- Employee & Labor Relations
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance and support on daily HR-related queries, policies, and procedures.
- Manage collective relations with the Works Council (or equivalent social bodies), including preparing meetings, facilitating communication, and participating in the negotiation of collective agreements.
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations across all countries in the region.
- Talent Management & Development
- Partner with managers to identify training needs and deploy the annual training plan.
- Facilitate development discussions with managers and employees to support career growth and performance.
- Actively participate in the recruitment process, interviewing candidates in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers.
- HR Projects & Communication
- Lead or contribute to various HR projects, such as the implementation of new HR processes, tools, or benefits programs.
- Develop and share diverse communications to effectively inform employees about HR initiatives, policy updates, and company news.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve HR efficiency and enhance the employee experience.
