About the role

This is a unique opportunity to discover the reality of HR in a fast-growing climate tech scale-up, where no two days look the same. You will work closely with the HR team on a wide range of operational and strategic topics, helping us support 200+ employees across multiple countries.

The challenge: Supporting people at scale

At Greenly, the HR team plays a central role in employee experience, compliance, recruitment, culture, and internal operations. We are a lean team, which means you will quickly gain ownership and visibility on meaningful projects.

This is not a “coffee & photocopy” internship. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute concretely, learn fast, and grow in a demanding but supportive environment.

Internal Communication & Culture

Focus: Creating an engaging and people-first employee experience.

  • Help prepare internal HR communications, newsletters, and employee initiatives.

  • Support culture-building projects such as surveys, Lunch Roulette, onboarding activities, and wellbeing initiatives.

  • Participate in organizing office life and internal and/or external events.

  • Bring new ideas to improve employee engagement and HR processes.

HR Operations & Employee Support

Focus: Making sure employees have a smooth and high-quality HR experience.

  • Support day-to-day HR operations and help maintain accurate employee documentation and HR processes.

  • Prepare HR documents such as certificates, contract amendments, onboarding documents, and administrative follow-ups.

  • Answer employee questions with responsiveness, empathy, and attention to detail.

  • Coordinate HR requests and follow-ups with different teams internally.

  • Contribute to payroll and compliance-related checks to ensure operational accuracy.

Recruitment & Talent Support

Focus: Helping Greenly attract and hire top talent.

  • Support recruitment processes across different teams and departments.

  • Review applications, conduct CV screenings, and participate in interviews.

  • Help with sourcing efforts and candidate coordination.

  • Ensure candidates have a smooth and positive experience throughout the recruitment process.

  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives and recruitment communication.

Projects & Continuous Improvement

Focus: Building smarter and more scalable HR processes.

  • Support HR audits, reporting, and process documentation.

  • Use tools like Google Sheets, Notion, and AI tools to improve efficiency and organization.

  • Contribute to ad hoc HR projects depending on business priorities.

  • Identify ways to improve HR operations and proactively suggest solutions.

Required Skills

Must-haves

  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English (C1 minimum).

  • Good Excel / Google Sheets skills.

  • Comfortable working on multiple topics in parallel in a fast-paced environment.

  • Employee-centric mindset with a strong sense of service and professionalism.

  • Curiosity for HR, people topics, and startup environments.

  • Creativity and an eye for continuous improvement, with the ability to proactively suggest new ideas and better ways of doing things.

  • Positive attitude toward AI and willingness to use new tools to work smarter.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous internship, student job, or experience in HR, recruitment, operations, or administration.

  • Experience with Notion, Slack, LinkedIn, ATS, or HRIS tools.

  • Interest in labor law, compliance, or employer branding.

  • Experience in a startup or scale-up environment.

What success looks like

By the end of the internship, you will have:

  • Become autonomous on key HR operational tasks.

  • Contributed meaningfully to recruitment and employee support.
