HR Business Partner

Location: Angers, France

About the Role

For our client we are looking for an experienced HR professional to join one of the world´s largest electronics manufacturers, which is expanding its activities in France.

This is a broad, hands‑on HR role combining day‑to‑day HR management with close cooperation with site management and an international HR team. You will take responsibility for local HR activities, support employees and managers, and contribute to the development and continuous improvement of HR processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the local HR agenda and provide HR support to site management and employees.
• Help establish and develop HR processes for the new site.
• Advise management on HR matters and ensure compliance with French employment law.
• Support recruitment and the development of the local workforce.
• Handle employee relations and cooperate with employee representatives and trade unions.
• Work with external payroll providers and legal advisors.
• Cooperate closely with the international HR team on HR processes, policies and compensation‑related topics.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an HR Manager, Senior HR Business Partner or similar generalist HR role.
• Strong knowledge of French employment law and the local labour market.
• Experience with employee relations and trade unions in France.
• A hands‑on approach and the ability to manage a broad range of HR activities independently.
• Fluency in French and English , with the ability to communicate effectively with local stakeholders and international colleagues.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
