We work as one to achieve our vision of being the world’s most trusted, innovative, liquidity and data solutions specialist.**Role Overview**This role works at the operational and execution level supporting the Senior Manager (HR Lead for Continental Europe) and regional HR Advisory team to execute employee lifecycle processes across multiple client groups, locations and business stakeholders.

The HR Advisor supports the Continental Europe businesses located in France, Spain, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, and Switzerland, providing guidance and co-ordination between the business, HR Operations and senior HR leadership**Role Responsibilities**Business Support

  • Support the delivery and implementation of HR initiatives
  • Assist the regional HR Advisory team with their client groups people and matters across the employee lifecycle
  • Participate in initiatives, to improve culture and employee engagement at regional level and ongoing reinforcement of initiatives
  • Provide first line HR advice to managers on standard people matters, escalating to the Senior HR Manager as appropriate
  • Conduct exit interviews and produce regular reports and analysis

Employee Relations

  • Support ER activities within the French regulatory environment, including interaction with Works Council (CSE), while maintaining a broader CE perspective
  • Support the management of short and long term absences, seeking specialist advise as appropriate and initiate Company Doctor and Insurance processes in accordance with policy
  • Support the HR Advisory team in managing Flexible Working Arrangement requests, capability matters, and redundancy processes, ensuring action taken is in accordance with group policy and local requirements

Talent* Assist HR Advisory team with the management of the organisation’s talent lifecycle process – talent and succession, development planning, calibration process, promotion and progression and annual performance review

HR Analytics

  • Produce ad-hoc reports as required by the team and client groups
  • Produce HR data as required for regulatory and Works Council obligations
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of HR data used across Continental Europe

General

  • Play an active role within the team environment, working collaboratively with HR COEs, sharing knowledge and business insights to facilitate joined up HR execution
  • Proactively and collaboratively partner with HR Operations to ensure first class business service delivery. Act as the main liaison between the HR Operations and Advisory teams
  • Support the wider Advisory team in responding to general queries, administration where required and tracking and analysis, policy and procedural reviews
  • Gain knowledge of legislative changes impacting employees in regional jurisdiction
  • Perform other duties as assigned by HR management**Experience / Competences**Key skills and competencies for the CE region includes:
  • Strong understanding of national employment, social, and labor law to handle contracts, terminations, and employee relations
  • Knowledge of Works Council Requirements
  • Acting as a bridge between management and employees, providing advice on labor regulations, and managing conflict resolution
  • Ability to work across borders, understanding cultural nuances in communication, and diverse workplace environments

Essential

  • Fluent in spoken and written French and English; Spanish proficiency would be an advantage.
  • Exceptionally strong communicator, able to adapt style to suit audience and extract key messages to deliver high-impact communications
  • Role models teamwork and partners well to achieve common goals, building effective working relationships
  • Proven administrative, planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to demonstrate discretion and confidentiality
  • Proficient in HRIS systems, managing digital, compliant documentation, and using data for decision-making
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • A good payroll understanding and formal HR training
  • Experience and understanding of national training programmes and framework
  • Experience of working in Professional Services
