HPC Engineer, Numerical Simulation

Responsibilities

• Push the boundaries of numerical simulation in R&D: HPC & performance
• Optimize computations on HPC clusters (Linux environments)
• Improve scalability and performance (CPU/GPU, parallelization)
• Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to increase HPC capabilities
• Create and enhance finite element simulations (Abaqus, Ansys, Comsol…)
• Adapt models to complex multiphysics problems
• Strengthen validation and robustness of numerical models
• Develop tools and scripts (Python, Bash) to industrialize workflows
• Optimize simulation workflows
• Support R&D teams in the use of HPC
• Promote best practices (documentation, training)
• Encourage adoption of large-scale simulations

Requirements

• Significant experience in finite element simulation
• Hands-on experience with HPC environments
• Strong fundamentals in mechanics and scientific computing
• Proficiency in Python
• Fluency in French (C1) and English (B2)
• Parallelization (MPI, OpenMP, CUDA) - Highly valued
• Performance optimization - Highly valued
• Scientific software development - Highly valued
• Experience in industrial R&D - Highly valued
