House Manager

An international client is seeking a highly competent live-in House Manager to oversee the smooth operation of their private residence located in Chens-sur-Léman , near Thonon-les-Bains. The position is full-time, permanent (CDI) , and includes accommodation on site. The property already employs a team of 5–6 staff, including housekeepers, private chefs, and a chauffeur. The family is looking for a hands‑on, discreet professional who can lead with structure, calm, and excellence.

Responsabilities

• Oversee the maintenance of the residence, gardens, and all technical systems
• Supervise and coordinate the household team (chefs, cleaners, drivers, etc.)
• Manage household budgets, expenses, and administrative records
• Liaise with and supervise external service providers and contractors
• Supervise meal service and dining setup; manage wine cellar inventory and care
• Act as the point of contact with the Geneva office for logistics and vehicles

Profil

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar senior household role
• Fluent in both French and English
• Strong leadership and staff management skills
• High standards of discretion, integrity, and professionalism
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Confident overseeing formal meal service and household protocol
• Flexibility and adaptability to varied tasks and changing needs
• Salary between 6'000 and 8'000€ , based on experience
