Highway Maintenance & Snow Operations Specialist

The Oregon Department of Transportation is seeking a Highway Maintenance Specialist for a split position based in La Grande and Meacham. This role operates heavy and light equipment to maintain roadways, perform repairs, and assist during weather emergencies, with mileage-reimbursement considerations based on reporting miles.

The incumbent will work 5 months at each location on the striping crew, join maintenance crews, and support emergency cleanup and traffic control after storms or incidents.
