Summary
One of the UK's most ambitious infrastructure projects is underway on the Isle of Skye, a 137km overhead line connecting Skye and the Western Isles to mainland Scotland. Challenging terrain, complex civils, high stakes.
Keltbray is delivering groundworks and enabling works as part of the supply chain to main contractor Balfour Beatty on behalf of SSEN Transmission. We're looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead our safety culture on site and make sure everyone goes home safe every day.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading health, safety and wellbeing across Keltbray's works on a major live infrastructure project
- Developing and implementing site-specific H&S plans, risk assessments and method statements
- Carrying out site inspections, audits and incident investigations
- Advising and supporting the project and site management team on all H&S matters
- Liaising with the main contractor, client and regulatory bodies as required
- Driving a positive safety culture across a high-performing site team
What We're Looking For
- H&S experience on major civils, infrastructure or groundworks projects
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or Diploma is essential
- CMIOSH or working towards it is highly desirable
- Confident working in remote, challenging environments
- Strong influencing and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
