Job Description

The Health and Safety Manager plays a key role in driving a proactive safety culture within Sekurit AGR. Beyond ensuring compliance and improving safety performance, this role is about leading changes, engaging employees, and fostering a mindset where safety becomes a shared responsibility at all levels. Through strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and innovative initiatives, the Health and Safety Manager promotes best practices, embeds safety into daily operations, and drives continuous improvement in risk prevention and well-being.

Scope of mission in Sekurit AGR

• Industry SOA: As part of the OEM network, you will coordinate and enforce defined rules of Sekurit's industrial branch.
• Distribution & Fitting SOAs: Responsible for overseeing all warehouses across Europe, all owned fitting stations, and assisting in deploying an appropriate policy for the franchise network.

Responsibilities and Missions

• Health & Safety Strategy: Develop and implement policies and standards to ensure a safe working environment, in compliance with local and international regulations.
• Safety Culture Development: Foster a culture of safety by engaging employees, recognizing and sharing good practices, and embedding Saint-Gobain’s values of innovation, sustainability, and respect for people.
• Risk Management & Prevention : implement preventive measures, and coordinate risk mitigation efforts across the BU with the support of people in charge of conducting regular risk assessments that can assist you on the topic
• Training & Awareness: Organize training sessions and awareness programs to engage employees in health and safety best practices.
• Incident Management: Investigate workplace accidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Audit & Compliance: Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Global and local Coordination: Work closely with EHS managers in different countries to ensure alignment and consistency in safety practices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal departments, including Mobility, to address industrial safety challenges.
• Innovation in Health & Safety: Promote and implement new safety technologies and initiatives (e.g., exoskeletons, ergonomics).
• Performance Monitoring: Define and track key health and safety performance indicators to measure effectiveness, drive continuous improvement and motivate all teams to achieve the targets.
• For the fitting activity : support by establishing standards and processes aligned with the specific requirements of automotive glass installation and contribute to define and deploy a strong health & safety culture within the franchise network.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: University degree in health, occupational safety, environmental science, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, preferably within an industrial environment.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
• Experience in risk management, audits, and incident analysis.
• Ability to implement safety programs and drive continuous improvement.

Interpersonal Skills:

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with teams across different departments and countries.
• Leadership in project management and team coordination.

Additional Skills:

• Ability to promote a proactive safety culture.
• Familiarity with emerging safety technologies (exoskeletons, ergonomics, etc.).
• Capacity to manage emergency situations and make timely, effective decisions.

Sekurit AGR produces, distributes and installs Automotive glazing for the aftermarket.
