Location - Paris (17th arrondissement)

Salary - Up to €95,000 + benefits

We're recruiting on behalf of a fast-scaling e-commerce and logistics business for a newly critical role: Head of Transport (Carrier Management), owning first and last-mile delivery performance across the French market.

This is a role for someone who wants full commercial and operational control, not a cog in a bigger machine. You'll run the P&L for delivery operations in France, hold your carrier network to account, and lead a team of delivery managers and coordinators who look to you for direction and pace.

What you'll be doing as Head of Transport / Transportation Lead:

• Owning cost-per-parcel performance across the French network. You're the budget holder, and you're expected to find savings through smarter carrier negotiations and operational efficiency, not just cost-cutting
• Driving carrier/DSP performance day-to-day, using data to spot bottlenecks and fix them before they become customer complaints
• Making sure delivery point coverage and scheduling is balanced, so parcels keep moving and nothing sits idle in the network
• Acting as the connective tissue between transport, ops, and the wider business, building relationships that get transport prioritised at the table
• Leading, motivating and developing a team that's accountable for hitting service and cost targets

What you'll bring to the position of Head of Transport / Transportation Lead:

• Strong commercial acumen, genuine comfort owning a P&L, not just reporting on one
• Deep knowledge of the French transportation and last-mile market, including regulatory nuance
• A track record of building and delivering operational improvement plans in logistics or transport
• Proven experience managing DSPs/carriers in a last-mile or parcel delivery environment
• Sharp data analysis skills; you back decisions with numbers, not gut feel
• The ability to lead a team and influence stakeholders across a multicultural business
