Head of Total Rewards and International Mobility The position :
Develops and executes the strategy of C&B + Global Mobility in ROPU SA acting as local solution owner, to ensure that the solutions meet and support our business and people strategies. Provides conceptual direction in all aspects of Total Compensation and Global Mobility to ROPU SA Management on the basis of the global BI C&B framework, business needs and local legal/ market requirements. Steers ROPU SA countries by providing leadership and direction on Co
E processes, programs and policies. End-to-end accountability along the phases: strategize, design and optimize, govern, implement and run. Manages global solution portfolio for ROPU SA. Key contact for Global Co
E in all related aspects of the region.
Responsibilities
Strategize – develop and manage local ROPU SA solutions to ensure compensation/benefits practices are competitive and in line with business goals and corporate standards. Includes design solutions for salary structure, local awards, legal pay concepts, org structure, sales incentives and benefits.
Evaluate existing local solutions to identify improvement opportunities and define new ones.
Contribute to the BI C&B and mobility network and support global projects activities if required.
Provide input on strategic development and guidelines, processes, policies of HR ROPU SA.
Design and optimize solutions – define specifications, set standards, policies and procedures for ROPU SA countries to ensure the implementation of the defined Co
E strategy.
Lead competitiveness assessment. Conduct periodic market compensation & benefits surveys and benchmarks to constantly evaluate BI competitiveness, take actions if needed and/or analyze feasibility of implementing innovative measures for BI in line with Compensation philosophy.
Ensure market knowledge is included in the design and optimization by identifying compensation trends and creating practices that attract, engage and motivate employees.
Develop the external network with key contacts, vendors and partners.
Govern – ensure ROPU SA C&B + Mobility related solutions are adherent to the Global Co
E and Consense framework; provide direction in adapting regional/global solutions to comply with specific country/business regulations and local tax law, social security, etc.
Manage and steer ROPU SA annual compensation cycle, strategizing compensation and benefits with performance; create annual compensation review budget and necessary adjustments; enhance job architecture and conduct job evaluations/levelings.
Advises, councils and partners closely with HRBPs and HR Managers in C&B + Mobility related topics to ensure market alignment, internal equity and business support.
Manages rollout and ensures solutions are successfully implemented, assessing and aligning local impact.
Ensure training and lead communication on Co
E new and existing contents and processes across the company.
Governance and guidance for HR Manager in countries; ensure works council involvement if needed.
Steer ROPU SA mobility management including assignments and local transfers; accountable for ensuring process and mobility standards adherence for ROPU SA Global Mobility Management. Manage all expatriation related topics, e.g., assignment letters, salary increases, exchange rate stabilization, benefits topics as well as complex expat issues associated with the assignment.
Qualifications
Solid C&B/Mobility experience, 7+ years ideally in a multinational environment.
Broad and deep knowledge of Human Resources policies and practices.
Very high degree of data analysis, interpretation, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Very strong ethics and a high degree of discretion.
Strong leadership competencies and people management skills.
