• The distribution activities in Europe and in other geographic areas such as APAC, the Middle East, and Latin America for Natixis IM's asset management offering;
• A platform of centers of expertise (support functions) serving the distribution activities and affiliates.

Natixis IMI continues to develop and strengthen its presence in France and internationally, leveraging the expertise of its teams and the multi‑affiliate model of Natixis IM.

Job Description

As part of the incumbent’s retirement, you will join the Compliance Department at Natixis IM International and report to the Chief Compliance Officer based in London.

You manage a team of two employees (Paris & Singapore).

You manage the TPO system of Natixis IM International Distribution (NIMID), ensuring control of risks related to third parties, delegations, outsourcing and service providers.

In an evolving and non‑harmonised international environment, you are able to combine global vision with local expertise in order to align the Group’s standards with the specific requirements of each jurisdiction and ensure a consistent and compliant third‑party monitoring strategy.

The team is composed of one employee located in Paris and another in Singapore, both under the direct responsibility of the Head of TPO.

You will play a pivotal role in the management and mitigation of risks associated with third‑party relationships throughout NIMID’s perimeter. Recent regulatory developments in all regions, impacting delegations, outsourcing or vendor management, have reaffirmed the need for effective coverage and responsiveness. The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of the regulatory requirements within the EU and in the countries where NIMID operates, as well as a mastery of global NIMID platform standards and a good understanding of intra‑group relationships.

On a day‑to‑day basis, your tasks will be as follows

• Overall responsibility the creation, implementation and maintenance of NIMID’s Third Party Monitoring Framework (TPO) and programmes.
• Development of monitoring processes: Lead the design and deployment of onboarding and third‑party tracking activities to ensure that third‑party risks are managed effectively and in accordance with regional regulatory standards. Each of our offices is subject to distinct regulatory regimes and has developed in recent years its own regulations on outsourcing and supervision of providers, which are not always harmonised (as may be the case in other parts of the world) ; this trend is expected to continue in the future.
• Management of surveillance programs: act as a leader in the deployment of internal global monitoring and tracking programs under the TPO function. Take all necessary measures to train colleagues from all relevant operational functions on the nature of each program and on how to approach the TPO team at the start of the contracting process with a new third party.
• Regulatory compliance: keep abreast of developments in outsourcing regulations and the monitoring of contractors in all regions where NIMID operates or to which it is exposed (e.g. through delegations). Anticipate upcoming changes and act (directly or through the team members) as a business expert ('Subject Matter Expert' or 'SME') to navigate the various regulatory requirements for outsourcing NIMID entities, providing compliance guidance and assisting in the development of regulatory strategies.
• Relationship Management: in collaboration with the TPO team, establish and maintain strong working relationships with other key functions such as Legal, Finance, Risk and Compliance teams within NIMID or NIM, fostering effective collaboration and communication to ensure that all processes align with local and global requirements. Also establish and maintain strong working relationships with key contractors.
• Operational resilience compliance: Address operational resilience issues as they relate to the oversight of contractors, working closely with NIMID’s 'Technology Risk Management' or 'TRM' team.
• Training: Design and deliver training to other departments on all aspects of TPO programs, in order to maximize the coverage and integration of all critical third parties into relevant TPO programs.
• Governance:
  • Organise and chair the NIMID Outsourcing Oversight Committee ("OOC - Outsourcing Oversight Committee") (including local variations of this committee in some locations).
  • Report on TPO and OOC topics to local governance bodies (boards of directors, fund boards, NIM governance bodies and/or executive committees), as required.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

With a higher education, you have at least 10 years of experience in asset management or financial services.

You master:

• monitoring third parties, outsourcing and managing service providers.
• European regulatory environment (international experience is an asset)

You have excellent interpersonal skills, a very good ability to listen; you are:

• capable of working in a global and local context, reconciling group standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Able to influence and collaborate across the different functions of Natixis IM and the Group.
• with a strategic mind and able to contribute to regulatory guidelines and governance bodies.

You master English with a C2 level.
