The Opportunity

Intaso are partnering with a well-funded European champion in human-centric cybersecurity. Created through a recent strategic merger, the business provides comprehensive protection against advanced, human-targeted threats for thousands of global enterprise customers. Backed by a top-tier, global private equity house, they are primed for accelerated international expansion.

We are seeking a Head of Engineering to lead the French technical hub. Taking the reins from the original technical founder, you will guide a talented team of engineers building next-generation threat simulation, security awareness, and automated threat-detection products.

What You Will Lead

• Manage, mentor, and grow a tight-knit, remote-first team organised into four core product squads
• Drive the technical unification of authentication, permissions, and product suites across multiple recently acquired platforms to create a seamless enterprise experience
• Support and lead development of integration features between the awareness and mail security platforms
• Ensure rapid implementation of the product roadmap, essential to remain competitive in this highly innovative market
• Contributing to the direction of the shared services layer for the full platform
• Leadership for strategic infrastructure initiatives, including a highly anticipated migration from public cloud (GCP) to sovereign on-premises environments to meet European data standards
• Champion the practical adoption of modern AI-assisted developer tools to maximise code quality and team velocity

Your Profile

You’re a seasoned engineering leader who has successfully navigated scale-up environments and grasps the necessity for scalable architecture. You understand how to preserve the autonomy and speed of a start-up team whilst aligning them with the operational maturity of a multinational group.

You remain technically sharp, capable of diving into source code to earn your team's respect, and you view AI not as a buzzword, but as an essential part of the modern developer toolkit. You adopt a ‘security first’ mindset, operating in close collaboration with the Group CISO.
