Head of Social Media & Digital Performance (H/F)

Location: Courbevoie (92)

Reporting to: Director of Communication of the Group

Role: Accelerate digital performance across web and social media ecosystems using a data‑driven, business‑impact and influence approach.

Responsibilities

  • Position and elevate Equans as a leading influencer in the sector across social platforms.
  • Define and implement the global social media strategy (corporate, executive, brand corporate, commercial, employer).
  • Manage presence on key networks (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, emerging platforms) with editorial differentiation and growth hacking.
  • Produce and oversee content creation.
  • Build structured influence approach (opinion leaders, internal experts, partners, employee advocacy).
  • Supervise paid media strategies (social ads, content amplification) with ROI focus.
  • Drive performance measurement and data‑driven strategy across the ecosystem.
  • Set and use clear actionable KPIs: engagement, qualified reach, lead generation, business contribution, brand, awareness.
  • Industrialize tracking tools, dashboards and reporting (GA, social analytics, media platforms).
  • Analyse performance, identify optimization levers, conduct continual testing (A/B tests, new formats).
  • Champion performance culture and proof within the communication network.
  • Collaborate on the vision for 30+ group web platforms: roadmap, user journey, governance, technical priorities.
  • Interface communication with corporate communication, marketing, IT and HR for coherence, performance, security and scalability.
  • Propose on UX, SEO, GEO, personalization.
  • Co‑pilot the content factory and decide on web content publishing.
  • Track content production follow‑up.
  • Manage and develop 2 direct reports, fostering autonomy, skills growth and teamwork.
  • Remain hands‑on on key strategic aspects, project pilots, decisions, tests.
  • Operate collaboratively with internal teams (other directorate divisions, communication network, marketing, IT, HR, business units) and external partners.

Qualifications

  • Double expertise in technology and social media.
  • Strong understanding of technical web environments (CMS, tracking, SEO, analytics).
  • Excellent grasp of influence, reputation and performance issues.
  • Solid data & analytics culture, ability to transform data into concrete decisions.
  • Curiosity and constant vigilance on digital trends, platforms, innovations.
  • Entrepreneurial, autonomous, solution‑oriented, strategic and operational capacity.
  • Strong team spirit, comfortable in a cross‑functional, matrixed environment.
  • Teaching ability, working with stakeholders of varied digital maturity levels.
  • 8–12 years in digital and social media.
  • Knowledge of energy, services or infrastructure sector is a real advantage.
  • Experience in group, multi‑brand, multi‑platform environment appreciated.

  • Measurable progression of social performance (engagement, influence, share of voice, attention).
  • Recognition of Equans among top digital references in the sector.
  • Continuous improvement of web platform performance (qualified traffic, conversion, UX).
  • Effective adoption of dashboards and data reflexes by teams.
  • Quality and efficiency of collaboration with IT.
