Job Description

Neurobus is a French DeepTech startup developing next-generation autonomous systems powered by neuromorphic AI and event-based sensing technologies. Our solutions enable ultra-low-power, real-time intelligence for defense, aerospace, drone, and space applications.

Your Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute Neurobus' commercial strategy.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across defense, aerospace, drone, and government markets.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and signature.
  • Achieve revenue targets and contribute directly to company growth.

Strategic Partnerships

  • Develop relationships with major industry players, government agencies, and defense contractors.
  • Establish partnerships with system integrators, OEMs, and technology providers.
  • Represent Neurobus at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.

Customer Engagement

  • Understand customer needs and translate them into commercial opportunities.
  • Coordinate with product and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are addressed.
  • Build long‑term relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and procurement opportunities.
  • Identify emerging markets and new application areas for Neurobus technologies.
  • Contribute to strategic positioning and go‑to‑market planning.

Team Building

  • Help build and scale the future commercial organization.
  • Define sales processes, CRM practices, and performance metrics.
  • Mentor and support future business development team members.

Experience

Preferred Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or strategic partnerships.
  • Proven track record of closing complex B2B deals.
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, drones, robotics, embedded systems, AI, or related industries.
  • Experience working with public sector customers, defense procurement, or government contracts is highly desirable.

Skills

  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage long sales cycles and complex stakeholder environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strategic mindset combined with strong execution capabilities.
  • Comfortable operating in a startup environment with significant autonomy.

Industry Knowledge

A strong understanding of one or more of the following sectors:

  • Defense
  • Aerospace
  • Space
  • Drones & Autonomous Systems
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Embedded Systems

Languages

  • Fluent English required.
  • French strongly preferred.
  • Additional European languages are a plus.
