Head of Sales
A fast-growing European health technology company is seeking an entrepreneurial Head of Sales to lead its commercial expansion in France. This will be the first senior commercial hire in the market and a key role responsible for establishing the company’s presence and driving early growth.
You will own the development and execution of the French go-to-market strategy, combining strategic planning with hands-on sales execution. The role will focus on securing early customers, building partnerships, and laying the foundations for a scalable commercial organisation.
Working closely with product, leadership and cross-functional teams across Europe, you will play a central role in shaping how the company enters and grows within the French healthcare ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for France across direct sales, partnerships and channel development
- Identify priority customer segments and market entry opportunities within the healthcare ecosystem
- Lead early sales activities and secure initial customers and reference accounts
- Build relationships with clinicians, healthcare providers, hospitals and healthcare organisations
- Establish strategic partnerships with distributors, resellers and ecosystem players
- Define pricing, positioning and commercial strategy tailored to the French market
- Contribute to the development of scalable sales processes, playbooks and commercial infrastructure
Profile
- Experience in sales, business development or commercial leadership within healthtech, MedTech or B2B SaaS
- Strong understanding of the French healthcare landscape and its key stakeholders
- Experience launching new markets, products or commercial functions
- Comfortable operating in early-stage environments with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach
- Experience working with partnerships or indirect sales models
- Fluent French and English
