Your future role

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing Alstom’s real estate portfolio in the France, Belgium and Luxembourg region, ensuring alignment with our business needs, group strategy, and sustainability goals. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, and senior management, to deliver strategic real estate solutions, lead portfolio optimization initiatives, and manage risk effectively. As a project development and construction expert, you will support local teams and product lines, not only in your region but also worldwide.
You’ll specifically take care of developing a comprehensive real estate strategy and supporting its execution, monitoring projects and their financial performance, while ensuring compliance with Alstom's high ethical and sustainability standards.
We’ll look to you for:
- Define and drive the real estate portfolio strategy for France & BeLux in alignment with Alstom’s global objectives and sustainability ambitions.
- Partner with business stakeholders, finance, procurement, and senior management to deliver optimized, value-creating real estate solutions.
- Manage in due time lease acquisition, renewals and expiries.
- Support local teams, regions and product lines worldwide for development of new sites and construction projects, fit‑out, and monitor the progress of these real estate projects, in compliance with Group rules. Alert if deviations occur.
- Report financial performance, portfolio optimization, and sustainability performance, enhancing asset resilience and long-term efficiency.

- An master’s degree in real estate, construction, or a related field, or an engineer degree with equivalent work experience.
- Proven expertise in asset management, real estate transactions, and development / construction project delivery, including financial and legal dimensions.
- Solid understanding of strategic real estate operations such as master planning and retrofit programs.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem‑solving skills, with a proactive, collaborative, and adaptable mindset.
