Head of Quality Engineering Strategy

Responsibilities

• Identify the most relevant GenAI use cases to improve the efficiency, coverage, and reliability of testing practices
• Integrate DevX AI agents into testing workflows: automated test coverage review, missing scenario suggestions, anomaly detection, and test design support
• Define quality standards for AI-generated or AI-assisted code, covering validation, security, reliability, maintainability, and alignment with engineering practices
• Measure the impact of AI on quality metrics such as coverage, detection time, regression rate, manual effort, velocity, and production reliability
• Define, lead, and deploy Betclic’s QA / Quality Engineering strategy, ensuring practices deliver measurable results
• Establish and monitor key quality indicators to measure the impact of QA initiatives and drive accountability within teams
• Present quality strategy, results, and trade-offs to executive stakeholders
• Lead and support a team of quality experts, ensuring their skills development and professional growth

Requirements

• Strong background as a Software Engineer, QA Engineer, Test Architect, or Quality Engineering Leader, with confidence and credibility working with code
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in software engineering environments, including at least 2 years managing a technical team in QA, testing, or development
• Significant experience in test strategy and leadership, with a proven ability to design and implement comprehensive QA strategies
• Clear vision of how GenAI is transforming testing practices and a desire to be at the forefront of that transformation
• Experience delivering end-to-end quality testing in complex environments, including web, mobile, and backend domains
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt your message to different audiences, from engineers to executive stakeholders
• Fluent in French and English, enabling effective collaboration with international teams
