Responsibilities
- Government and Institutional Affairs
Develop and maintain high-level relationships with ministries, government administrations, members of parliament, French public authorities and other key public institutions. Represent FORVIA in interactions with policymakers and contribute to the Group’s positioning on priority regulatory and industrial matters. Prepare and coordinate institutional meetings, site visits, parliamentary hearings and engagements with public stakeholders.
- Regulatory Monitoring and Advocacy
Monitor French and European regulatory developments that may impact the Group’s activities. Prepare impact assessments, position papers, briefing notes and recommendations for senior management. Contribute to advocacy initiatives related to industrial policy, competitiveness, decarbonization, industrial sovereignty and public support mechanisms.
- Industry Association Management
Lead relationships with industry associations relevant to FORVIA, including the French Automotive Platform (PFA) and related organizations. Coordinate the Group’s participation in industry working groups and collective sector initiatives. Advocate FORVIA’s positions in discussions relating to the automotive industry and European policies.
- Strategic Business Support
Support strategic Group projects requiring institutional or regulatory engagement. Advise Business, Communications, Investor Relations and Executive Management teams on public affairs matters. Contribute to the development of FORVIA’s institutional narrative and stakeholder engagement strategy.
- External Representation
Enhance FORVIA’s visibility and institutional credibility across public, industrial and academic ecosystems. Represent the Group at conferences, industry events, think tanks and public policy forums. Build and maintain a strong network of stakeholders and influencers in support of the Group’s strategic objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise with at least 7 years of experience in public affairs and in French and European institutional environments.
- Excellent understanding of industrial policy, regulatory frameworks, and competitiveness issues.
- Proven ability to develop and implement advocacy, stakeholder engagement and institutional representation strategies.
- Outstanding drafting, communication and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and negotiation capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience working in international and matrix organisations.
