As Head of Project Management & PMO, you will lead and continuously evolve the project delivery function within Alto Wealth & Distribution Professional Services. With a team of 10 Project Managers and 2 PMO professionals, you will ensure that implementation projects are delivered with excellence — reliably, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Your role combines strategic leadership, operational oversight and hands-on ownership where it matters most. From governance and portfolio transparency to delivery standards and continuous improvement, you will shape how successful project delivery looks in practice — supported by modern tooling and AI in everyday work.

Leading, coaching and developing a team of 10 Project Managers and 2 PMO professionals is at the heart of your role
You own the full project portfolio lifecycle — from scoping and planning to delivery, reporting and closure
Taking hands-on ownership of our largest, most strategic and most critical implementation projects is part of your day-to-day business
Defining and evolving project governance, delivery standards, methodologies and quality assurance is one of your key responsibilities
You ensure effective resource and capacity planning across the project management function
Building trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders and acting as the first escalation point for delivery topics is essential in this role
You keep risks, issues, dependencies and change requests under control — across projects and at portfolio level
Making sure PMO outputs, reporting and tools create clarity, consistency and better decisions is a core part of your responsibility
Driving continuous improvement, modern delivery practices and the smart use of AI and project tooling completes your area of ownership

Minimal education level
Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
Academic qualification / Speciality
Finance, Business Administration, IT or other related field Level of minimal experience 11 years and more
Experience
Bringing 10+ years of experience in project or program management, ideally in financial services, wealth or asset management, and IT, makes you a great fit for this role
Solid leadership experience and a proven track record in managing complex project portfolios and implementation projects are part of your profile
Required skills
A strong understanding of wealth management processes, trade lifecycle, data flows and middle-office operations helps you navigate complex delivery environments with confidence
You know how to work with senior stakeholders and bring hands-on experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence
Clear communication, strategic thinking and a hands-on, ownership-driven mindset set you apart
