The Role
As we expand our global footprint and enhance our core technology, we are looking for Head of Product Marketing . This is our first dedicated PM hire —a high-impact, strategic role designed to both structure the Product Marketing function at Unlimitail and serve as the vital link between Product engineering and market success. You will not slot into an existing playbook: you will design it . You will be responsible for translating complex technical innovations into a compelling value proposition that drives business growth, while building the processes, frameworks, and rituals that will make PM a strategic lever for the company.
Reporting directly to Guillaume (CMO) and working in close functional synergy with Frédéric (CPO) , you will define the positioning of our global offerings in a highly competitive international landscape.
Core Responsibilities
- PM Operating Model: Design the scope, processes, deliverables, and rituals that will govern how Product Marketing collaborates with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams.
- Foundational Toolkit: Build the core PM assets from scratch—messaging frameworks, positioning documents, persona library, competitive battle cards, and GTM templates.
- Cross-functional Cadence: Establish the rhythms between Product and GTM teams: launch reviews, roadmap briefings, and win/loss analysis cycles.
- Strategic Launches: Orchestrate the go-to-market of major product launches and manage the marketing lifecycle of monthly feature releases, from positioning to post-launch measurement.
- Competitive Intelligence: Conduct deep-market analysis to sharpen our differentiation against global players.
- Roadmap Influence: Act as a strategic advisor to the Product team, synthesizing market trends and client feedback into a prioritized global roadmap. Own the “Voice of the Market” function.
- ICP & Segmentation: Define and maintain Ideal Customer Profiles, buyer personas, and use-case maps to guide both product development and commercial targeting.
- Strategic Storytelling: Develop and own the master messaging architecture for Unlimitail’s product portfolio across audience types (brands, retailers, agencies). Translate sophisticated technical capabilities into jargon-free business narratives.
- Enablement Library: Build and maintain the full enablement suite—pitch decks, one-pagers, battle cards, objection-handling guides and demo scripts.
- Pitching & Training: Lead product training sessions and join the sales leadership in high-stakes pitches for major European retailers and top-tier brand advertisers.
- Voice of the Customer: Run structured client interviews, win/loss analyses, and NPS deep-dives to capture market shifts and feed product and commercial strategy.
- Partner Ecosystem: Engage directly with key strategic partners (Meta, Google, data providers) to align messaging and co-create market opportunities.
- Technical Authority: Act as a subject matter expert during strategic consultations, demonstrating how our solutions solve complex business challenges for brands and retailers alike.
Qualifications
- Experience: A seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience in AdTech, Data, or B2B scale-up/consulting. Experience in a two-sided marketplace is a plus, with a proven ability to tailor marketing strategies for distinct audiences (e.g., retailers and agencies).
- Builder’s Mindset: Proven track record of building or significantly structuring a PM practice from the ground up. You have a history of spearheading successful launches for both individual products and entire product lines without a pre-existing playbook, thriving in high-ambiguity environments.
- Hybrid Profile: You possess a blend of high-level strategic vision (business modeling, positioning, GTM strategy) and a “hands‑on” execution mindset.
- Communication: Fluency in both French and English, with the ability to navigate international business environments with clarity and impact.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional ability to synthesize complex information, a talent for storytelling, strong capacity to influence without authority, and the intellectual agility to thrive in a fast‑paced sector.
