Job Description

• A Master’s level qualification from a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 10 years' post-related experience. Acceptable alternatives: Bachelor’s level qualification with 15 years' post related experience, or an equivalent education combined with an appropriate amount of relevant, professional experience.
• Good knowledge of the oil sector in its logistic, commercial, economic and technical aspects.
• Knowledge of refining, petrochemical processes and oil markets.
• Relevant seniority in the functional area, International exposure, Industry know-how and Leadership experience.
• NATO's official languages are English and French. The work of this post is mainly conducted in English, therefore fluency in that language is essential and working knowledge of French is desirable.

Post Details

• Basic monthly salary: EUR 12 555, tax free – before insurance and pension contributions.
• This post will become vacant as of 01 September 2026.
• Post to be filled subject to final approval.
• Initial duration of the assignment will be for 3 years. The contract may be renewed, but will not exceed the definite tenure of 9 years.
