Yourmissions :

As Head of Marketing & Technical – Swine Business Unit, you play a central role in defining, steering and executing the BU’s marketing and technical strategy.

Reporting to the BU Director, you lead and manage a team of three Product/Range Managers, whom you guide around a clear, structured and ambitious vision. You are responsible for portfolio performance, marketing excellence and the operational execution of plans in the field.

Your objective: accelerate growth, strengthen product value and deploy innovative, structured and results‑driven marketing, aligned with market expectations and strategic priorities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Marketing & Technical Strategy Development
    • Build the portfolio strategy in line with BU and Corporate objectives.
    • Prioritise investments across products, segments and channels.
    • Define clear success indicators (KPIs) for each initiative.
    • Identify and prioritise growth opportunities.
    • Anticipate market changes and recommend the necessary adjustments.
  • Team Leadership & Management
    • Lead, develop and empower three Range Managers.
    • Provide a clear vision, structure responsibilities and set priorities.
    • Implement processes, team routines and performance‑driven management.
    • Ensure each product range has a complete, results‑oriented marketing & technical plan.
  • Performance Management & Execution
    • Monitor key business KPIs: revenue, margin, market share, profitability and field adoption.
    • Analyse gaps and implement rapid corrective actions.
    • Guarantee strong field execution of marketing and technical plans in collaboration with sales teams.
    • Organise regular performance reviews.
  • Marketing Excellence & Innovation
    • Strengthen marketing and business orientation over technical orientation.
    • Develop creative and differentiating approaches.
    • Propose innovative, “out of the box” solutions.
    • Ensure the quality, relevance and consistency of all materials, content and training.
  • Field Credibility & Expertise
    • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of marketing and technical messaging.
    • Contribute to salesforce development through internal training.
    • Develop external training programs for customers.
    • Participate in professional events: trade fairs, congresses, symposiums.
    • Maintain active market and innovation monitoring.
  • Cross‑Functional Coordination
    • Work closely with: Sales teams, KAM, Finance, SFE, Supply/SRC, Regulatory and Quality teams.
    • Ensure smooth alignment between strategy, product availability and field execution.
  • Corporate Relations & Influence
    • Maintain active collaboration with Corporate and Zone teams.
    • Share market insights to influence strategic projects and future developments.

Yourprofile :

Education

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business School or equivalent.
  • Veterinary background or experience is a plus, but not essential.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of marketing experience (Marketing Manager, Product Manager, Brand Manager…) ideally within Animal health, Pet food, Human health, Agri‑food or livestock sectors.
  • Proven experience in team management and leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience in business performance management and operational strategy deployment.

Location

Libourne (33) – regular travel, particularly in Western France.
