Reporting directly to the Marketing Communications Director, the Head of Marketing events & Trade media campaigns will be based in Nanterre / La Défense, France.
About the Team
You will join the Marketing Communications team, supporting the global visibility and positioning of Technip Energies through strategic events, trade media campaigns, and integrated marketing initiatives.
Mission
As Head of Marketing events & Trade media campaigns, you will define and lead the global strategy for marketing events and trade media campaigns, ensuring strong business impact, brand visibility, and customer engagement throughout the customer lifecycle. You will combine strategic vision, operational excellence, analytics‑driven decision making, and people management to drive performance and continuous improvement.
Main Responsibilities
- Define and lead the global strategy for marketing events and trade media campaigns aligned with business priorities and growth objectives.
- Drive high‑impact client experiences through world‑class trade shows, executive events, and strategic industry engagements.
- Build and execute integrated multichannel campaigns to strengthen brand visibility, thought leadership, and lead generation.
- Lead the annual events and trade media roadmap, ensuring strong ROI, audience engagement, and commercial impact.
- Oversee end‑to‑end event execution, including content, speakers, logistics, branding, stakeholder engagement, and post‑event follow‑up.
- Manage and optimise marketing budgets, ensuring data‑driven decisions, resource efficiency, and measurable business outcomes.
- Develop strong partnerships with external agencies, media publishers, and event providers to deliver innovative and high‑quality campaigns.
- Leverage analytics, dashboards, and KPIs to continuously improve campaign effectiveness, customer experience, and funnel performance.
- Foster close collaboration with commercial, communications, digital marketing, and business teams to ensure alignment and maximise impact.
- Lead, coach, and inspire a team of marketing professionals while promoting innovation, agility, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 years of experience in marketing, event management, and integrated campaign leadership within a large international organisation.
- Proven expertise in leading large‑scale marketing events, trade shows, and multi‑channel trade media campaigns with measurable business impact.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional collaboration skills in complex and fast‑paced environments.
- Advanced analytical mindset with strong knowledge of marketing KPIs, ROI measurement, CRM, and event management platforms (Cvent, Monday, Event Moby, etc.).
- Fluent in English and French, with excellent communication skills and the ability to combine strategic vision with hands‑on execution.
