We’re excited to be recruiting for a Head of Marketing to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced FMCG marketing leader—perfect for someone passionate about driving brand growth, delivering commercial performance, and leading high‑performing teams.
You’ll be responsible for leading the local marketing function, delivering in‑year business performance, and setting the strategic direction to drive future growth across brands and markets.

Responsibilities
Deliver Results
- Lead the local marketing team to deliver portfolio sales, profit, and budget targets
- Translate central strategy into actionable local brand plans and retail execution
- Ensure strong in‑store and online brand visibility through effective portfolio management
Portfolio Strategy & Brand Planning
- Turn data into actionable insights to drive performance and growth
- Develop compelling Year +1 brand plans aligned with global strategy
- Engage internal teams and retail partners with impactful category growth plans
- Define clear execution levers and performance measures
Communication & Media Planning
- Develop and execute communication and media plans that drive awareness, engagement, and ROI
- Maximise effectiveness of A&P investment and measure campaign performance
- Lead trade marketing and activation plans to strengthen retailer relationships and in‑store execution
Innovation & Portfolio Management
- Lead the development of a strong NPD pipeline delivering incremental and profitable growth
- Continuously improve the existing portfolio (EPD) for maximum consumer and cost advantage
- Optimise product range to balance growth, profitability, and operational efficiency
Leadership & Commercial Impact
- Act as a key member of the Commercial Leadership Team
- Lead, engage, and develop the local marketing team
- Allocate resources and investment effectively to maximise business performance
- Drive strong collaboration through S&OP and cross‑functional processes
About you
- Degree calibre with strong business and commercial acumen
- Proven experience in a senior marketing role within an FMCG environment
- Strong track record of delivering business and brand growth
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing high‑performing teams
- Strong understanding of FMCG operations and cross‑functional collaboration
- Experience building strong brands and commercial partnerships
- Resilient, driven, and results‑oriented mindset
- Pet industry experience is a plus but not essential
