La mission de la Direction européenne de la qualité du médicament & soins de santé (EDQM) est de contribuer à la protection de la santé publique en collaborant avec une communauté internationale d'expert’es et de parties prenantes. Pour ce faire, elle promeut l'accès à des médicaments et soins de santé sôrs en élaborant des normes de qualité qui constituent des références scientifiques reconnues dans le monde entier. Les normes relatives aux médicaments et à leurs ingrédients, produites par l'EDQM et compilées dans la Pharmacopée Européenne, sont juridiquement contraignantes dans les 39 états membres du Conseil de l'Europe et sont également largement utilisées dans les secteurs de la santé humaine et animale au plan mondial. L'EDQM joue, par ailleurs, un rôle essentiel en matière de transfusion sanguine, de transplantation d'organes, de tissus et de cellules, ainsi que dans l'elaboration de normes relatives à la santé des consommatrices, notamment en ce qui concerne les cosémtiques et matériels destinés à entrer en contact avec des denrées alimentaires.
Head of IT Infrastructure & Client Services Section
Your Main Responsibilities Will Include
- Lead and manage IT infrastructure, cloud services (Azure, Microsoft 365), client services and DevOps operations.
- Ensure secure, reliable, high-performing server, network and cloud environments.
- Oversee identity and access management, business continuity, backups and disaster recovery.
- Drive service excellence through efficient Service Desk operations, user support and continuous improvement.
- Lead DevOps and automation initiatives, including CI/CD pipelines, observability and platform optimisation.
- Promote adoption of sustainable, secure and innovative open-source solutions.
- Monitor service performance through KPIs, SLAs and IT service management best practices (ISO 20000).
Profil recherché
You Must Have
- a higher education degree or qualification equivalent to a Master’s degree (2nd cycle of the Bologna process framework of qualifications for the European Higher Education Area) in IT;
- at least five years’ experience in IT infrastructure management or in one of the other fields related to the post;
- proficiency in operating server (Windows, VmWare, open source), network and cloud (Azure, M365) environments, especially concerning security, service continuity, backups and management of identities and accounts;
- experience managing IT projects, good knowledge of relevant processes, such as those relating to ITIL practices or ISO 20000;
- a very good knowledge of one of the two official languages of the Council of Europe (English or French) and basic knowledge of the other or ability to learn it.
You Must Also
- be a citizen of one of the member states of the Council of Europe and fulfil the conditions for appointment to the civil service of that state;
- have discharged any obligation concerning national service (military, civil or comparable);
- not be the parent, child, stepchild or grandchild of a serving staff member of the Council of Europe;
- be under the age of 65 years.
