Head of International Chemical Regulation

Our client is a leading industrial player in the field of specialty chemicals, developing and producing innovative technical solutions used across multiple sectors, including advanced materials, water treatment, and energy. As part of its strategic growth, the company is seeking a senior leader to head a team of engineers specialized in international chemical regulations.

Main Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of engineers specialized in international regulatory frameworks (REACH, CLP, TSCA, etc.).

Represent the company before government authorities and international regulatory bodies.

Define the group’s global compliance strategy and anticipate key regulatory developments.

Actively contribute to the company’s positions in European and global consultations and policy discussions.

Profile

Proven experience in chemical regulation and international compliance.

Strong knowledge of major regulatory frameworks (REACH, Biocides, Industrial Chemicals, etc.).

Demonstrated ability to take high-level initiatives with governments, regulatory authorities, and professional associations.

Position: Permanent contract – Based in France, with regular international travel.
