We're partnering with a highly successful international industrial technology business that is investing heavily in its next phase of growth and innovation within the energy sector.

As Head of Innovation & Technology , you will define and drive the long-term technology strategy for a growing global business serving the renewable energy and infrastructure markets. This is a highly visible leadership position with direct influence on product strategy, innovation investment, and future market growth.

Leading an international team of approximately 20 engineers, scientists and innovation professionals , you will be responsible for building a high-performance innovation function capable of transforming emerging technologies into commercially successful solutions.

What you'll be doing

• Defining and executing a multi-year innovation and technology roadmap
• Leading a global team across engineering, product development and advanced research
• Driving innovation from concept through to industrialisation and market launch
• Identifying emerging technologies, market trends and future growth opportunities
• Building partnerships with universities, research institutes, suppliers and technology start-ups
• Acting as the senior technical authority across multiple product platforms
• Influencing senior stakeholders and shaping business strategy at executive level

What we're looking for

• Significant experience leading innovation, R&D, engineering or technology teams
• Background within renewable energy, solar, industrial products, advanced materials, structural engineering or related sectors
• Proven success developing and commercialising innovative technologies
• Strong leadership experience within international and multicultural environments
• Ability to combine strategic vision with hands-on execution
• Track record of building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of innovation
