Head of Infrastructure & Production (H/F)
Overview
Head of Infrastructure & Production (H/F) for a Fintech platform serving electronic financial markets. The role leads cross-functional teams and oversees global infrastructure operations, industrialization, security governance, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, multilingual environment.
We are looking for a Head of Infrastructure & Production in charge of the following areas and responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Functionally lead the MS Build & Run teams.
- Collaborate closely with the Engineering, IT, CDM, and Security (CISO) teams.
- Oversee the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and validate production deployments.
- Supervise the daily operations of central infrastructures (PSRV, Proxmox/Ceph, network, etc.) and client infrastructures (hosted dedicated/mutualized).
- Ensure high availability, resilience, scalability, and security of the platforms.
- Manage critical incidents and guarantee compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Define and implement standards for deployment, monitoring, backup, updates, etc.
- Participate in the evolution towards a containerized and orchestrated architecture (Kubernetes, Terraform, IaC).
- Develop DevOps/MSOps practices in coordination with architects.
- Work with the CISO to define and apply security best practices: patch management, PAM, access rights management.
- Ensure the auditability of technical environments and production best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years in infrastructure and IT production management in a demanding context (fintech, SaaS, trading, cloud providers, etc.).
- Experience in cross-functional or hierarchical management of technical teams.
- Proficiency in Linux environments, virtualization (Proxmox, KVM), storage (Ceph), monitoring (Datadog, Prometheus), deployment (Ansible, Terraform).
- Knowledge of distributed architectures, performance issues (latency, bandwidth), and IT security.
Soft Skills
- Management and leadership, rigor, initiative, and decision-making ability.
- Comfort in agile, multicultural, and distributed environments.
- Good written and oral communication skills, including in English.
