Head of In vitro operations

The Head of In Vitro Operations is responsible for the strategy, coordination, and execution of in vitro studies. He/she supervises the technical teams, ensures the scientific and regulatory quality of the studies, and oversees the proper conduct of experimental protocols in compliance with Quality standards. He/she acts as the sole point of contact between the In Vitro teams and the Scientific Management.

Reporting Line

The position reports directly to the CSO.

Responsibilities

• Designs and ensures the implementation of the operational strategy of the In Vitro department.
• Manages the teams working within the In Vitro platform.
• Oversees client in vitro studies: contributes to the drafting of financial protocols, study design, delivery of results, and preparation of reports.
• Performs statistical analyses of the results obtained, organizes and formats data (graphs, scientific presentations), and ensures team compliance with experimental protocols.
• Supervises production activities.
• Ensures compliance and reliability of the results generated by the production teams.
• Manages the budget and necessary investments to ensure the smooth running of studies.
• Develops and enhances production service performance.
• Ensures and optimizes quality monitoring.

Job Specifics

International travel 1 to 2 times per year, up-to-date certification in animal experimentation required.

Skills

• Technical skills: Experience in cell biology and molecular biology, fluency in English, ability to synthesize and analyze scientific information.
• Behavioral skills: Strong communication, rigor, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
