Head of Finance Communications

To support this ambition, we are creating a strategic Head of Finance Communications role reporting closely to Group leadership.
This position can be based in London, Paris, or Bucharest .
About the role
The Head of Finance Communications is a senior, executive‑level role responsible for shaping and driving high‑impact communications in direct support of the Group CFO and the global Finance function. Acting as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the CFO, the role translates complex financial, performance and transformation topics into clear, compelling narratives aligned with the company’s overall strategy and purpose.
Operating at both strategic and operational levels, this role is highly visible, fast‑paced, and critical to driving engagement, clarity, and credibility across the global Finance community and beyond.
Your missions
- Serve as the primary communications partner to the Group CFO, providing strategic counsel, message development, and hands‑on execution.
- Craft and deliver clear, consistent and compelling narratives around financial performance, strategy, transformation, governance and value creation.
- Lead communications for key moments in the Finance calendar (e.g. results, forecasts, transformation milestones, leadership communications).
- Develop and execute global Finance communication strategies and plans, aligned with enterprise priorities and corporate narrative.
- Produce executive‑level written content including speeches, presentations, talking points, internal announcements, and leadership messages.
- Drive engagement and alignment across the global Finance community, strengthening understanding of strategy, priorities, and performance.
- Ensure communications are accurate, fact‑based, compliant, and credible, particularly in regulated or sensitive contexts.
- Collaborate closely with Group Communications, Investor Relations, HR, Strategy and other functions to ensure alignment and coherence.
- Act as a high‑trust partner, exercising sound judgment, confidentiality, and discretion at all times.
- Monitor feedback and impact to continuously refine messages and improve communication effectiveness.
Experience & Background
- Extensive senior‑level experience in corporate, internal or functional communications, ideally within a global, complex organization.
- Proven track record of supporting C‑suite or executive leaders, operating with credibility and confidence at the highest levels.
- Strong exposure to Finance, strategy, transformation, or similarly complex, regulated environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and executing strategic communication plans for large, matrixed organizations.
- Strong background in employee communications related to strategy, performance, change, and organizational values.
Skills & Capabilities
- Exceptional writing, storytelling and message‑shaping skills, with the ability to simplify and humanize complex topics.
- Strategic mindset combined with a hands‑on, delivery‑oriented approach.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence, challenge and advise senior leaders.
- High level of judgment, discretion and integrity, particularly when handling sensitive financial and organizational information.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑moving, high‑visibility, international environment.
Languages
- Native‑level English required.
- Fluent level in French is a strong advantage.
