Head of Finance

Overview

We are seeking a Head of Finance in France for a fast‑growing organization at the intersection of fintech, payments, and blockchain technology. The role offers broad ownership across financial strategy, operational excellence, compliance, and treasury management, working closely with executive leadership to support business growth. Responsibilities

• Lead the overall financial strategy and take ownership of the company’s profit and loss management, including budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning.
• Oversee core financial operations such as treasury management, liquidity planning, cash flow monitoring, invoicing, collateral management, and settlement processes.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting aligned with accounting standards and applicable regulations.
• Collaborate closely with leadership teams across operations, legal, compliance, and technology to support strategic initiatives and business decision‑making.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, banking partners, and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of innovative financial products and internal tools that improve operational efficiency and scalability.
• Monitor developments within the crypto, blockchain, and payments industries to anticipate regulatory and market changes.
• Establish and maintain effective risk management frameworks to safeguard financial stability and company assets.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience in financial controlling, finance management, or similar leadership roles within fintech companies, banking institutions, or payment environments.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, compliance requirements, and financial regulations.
• Proven ability to lead financial operations in fast‑paced and rapidly evolving industries.
• Experience managing treasury activities, cash flow, financial planning, and operational finance functions.
• Knowledge of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and decentralized finance (DeFi) is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, leadership, and decision‑making skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities with a collaborative mindset.
• Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
• Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are considered a strong advantage.
