This role can be based in Barcelona (Spain), Ivrea (Italy), Saint‑Genis‑Pouilly (France), or Erlangen (Germany).
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain engineering standards for SHS Radiopharma International facilities across all core disciplines (Civil, Architectural, Electrical, Safety, Utilities, Controls/Instrumentation, HVAC).
- Develop and implement asset strategies ensuring proper lifecycle management.
- Support design and integration of new technologies across all facilities.
- Lead the implementation of harmonized automation strategies, including Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS) and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Support the deployment of tools and automation solutions aligned with the SHS network architecture.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory and quality requirements (GMP, Annex 1, etc.) and support quality escalations and corrective actions.
- Lead the portfolio of major capital investment projects and new technology implementations from concept to execution.
- Support CAPEX planning and financial control, including multi‑year roadmaps, annual forecasting, budget tracking, and variance analysis.
- Drive strategic investment programs such as blueprint deployment, Annex 1 compliance, and new technology rollouts.
- Oversee project governance through the PMD process, ensuring proper scoping, initiation, and stakeholder alignment.
- Take full accountability for project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, budget, and required quality standards.
- Participate in Project Status Review (PSR) meetings and implement corrective or preventive actions as needed.
- Provide leadership with reporting on execution risks and opportunities.
- Lead and manage a team of Project Managers, including daily supervision, performance management, coaching, and career development.
- Ensure optimal allocation and use of internal and external resources.
- Supervise contractor engagement and approve external purchase orders.
- Ensure continuous technical training and capability development within the team.
- Promote knowledge transfer and best‑practice sharing across projects within the EU PMO structure.
- Partner closely with Quality, Business, and Operations teams to ensure facility capacity and readiness.
- Ensure projects are executed in line with project management methodology, with appropriate SME involvement.
- Drive effective stakeholder management and maintain strong cross‑functional communication.
- Travel across Europe as required, approximately one week per month.
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience managing mid‑scale, complex capital projects in a radiopharmaceutical or highly regulated GMP environment.
- Proven ability to deliver cross‑functional projects on time and within budget.
- PMP or certification required.
- Strong background in project financial management, including cost control, margin analysis, risk management, and change‑order oversight.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing diverse teams and external contractors.
- Solid understanding of automation systems (EMS, BMS) and regulated facility environments.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in dynamic, entrepreneurial, and fast‑paced environments.
