A major international manufacturer is looking for an experienced Group EHS Manager to lead Environment, Health & Safety performance across multiple European sites while supporting global programmes and initiatives.

This role blends hands‑on site engagement with strategic global influence, partnering closely with senior leadership to strengthen compliance, culture, and sustainability across the group.

What You’ll Do

  • Report to Group Head of EHS, being the point of contact providing guidance and support to factory EHS Managers and Site Directors across the EU and RoW
  • Actively participate in formulating new initiatives, best practices and driving sustainable change.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between factories and for various EHS corporate councils and / or governing agencies to keep apprise of both company and regulatory requirements
  • Lead the development and execution of Factory and corporate initiatives Monitor and drive performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead and support EHS implementation across sites
  • Ensure Factories compliance with internal standards and EU/local regulations.
  • Guide site EHS teams, drive action plans, and support continuous improvement.
  • Conduct audits, risk assessments, and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Support global EHS initiatives, standards, and regulatory frameworks
  • Develop and maintain safety, health, and environmental policies.
  • Lead investigations, reporting, and performance tracking.
  • Contribute to sustainability, environmental compliance, and global projects.
  • Coach and develop EHS talent across the group.

What You’ll Bring

  • Fluent in English and willingness to travel regularly across Europe.
  • Degree in EHS, Environmental Sciences, or related field (Master’s a plus).
  • 7+ years’ experience in EHS roles within industrial/manufacturing settings.
  • Strong knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Experience with audits, compliance systems, and regulatory reporting.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Certifications (CSP, CIH, ISO 14001, etc.) are advantageous.
