We are opening a Head of Engineering position to structure and lead the entire technical team — hardware, embedded software, and production. You will be the internal technical authority, the bridge between R&D and industrialization, and the driving force behind team dynamics.

In this position, you will be in contact with all SpaceLocker's technical teams to:

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team (hardware, electronics, embedded software, mechanics), while maintaining high standards and a strong collective dynamic
\n
• Act as the team’s technical reference, arbitrating key choices related to architecture, materials, components and processes
\n
• Drive the scale-up of SpaceLocker’s production and industrialization capabilities
\n
• Ensure and maintain the team’s rigor across specification, design and AIV activities
\n
• Own the engineering product roadmap in close collaboration with the CTO
\n
• Structure product line management with an end-to-end system vision
\n
• Lead HR reviews, performance assessments and technical recruiting within the engineering team
\n
• Help unblock critical technical issues to maintain the team’s execution speed and delivery momentum
\n

For this opportunity, compensation package is aroud 60k€ before tax, with an additional 10% performance bonus. 5 week paid vacation, hybrid remote work.

• 5+ years of experience in space or avionics engineering, with a strong industrialization / production dimension (downstream phases, AIT, production chain)
\n
• Proven experience managing a technical team in the space or aerospace sector
\n
• Solid command of both hardware (electronics, mechanics, cabling, prototyping, qualification) and embedded software
\n
• Ideally : product line management experience at a prime or a New Space player
\n
• Fluent English, basic French is a bonus
\n
• Natural leadership, able to bring energy and momentum to a team
\n
• Autonomous and accountable
\n
• Rigorous, able to bring structure without adding bureaucracy
\n
• Strong communicator, comfortable in an international environment
\n
