The Opportunity

Shoppingfeedis seeking an experienced engineering leader to drive the technical evolution of our platform.

Reporting to the VP of Technology and Architecture (PXM), you will lead the Engineering organisation responsible for theShoppingfeedplatform, providing technical leadership while developing a high-performing engineering culture.

You’llbe responsible forarchitecture, engineering delivery, technicalstrategyand people leadership, ensuring the platform continues to scale while supporting Centric Software’s broader Product Experience Management strategy.

About the Team

The Engineering team is primarily based in France and works closely with Product, Support, and Customer Success.

You’lllead Engineering Managers / Tech Leads while partnering closely with the Head of Product to ensure successful product delivery.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead and develop theShoppingfeedEngineering organisation.
• Define and evolve the platform architecture alongside technical leaders.
• Own engineering execution, deliveryqualityand technical excellence.
• Build scalable engineering processes and improve development practices.
• Mentor Engineering Managers / Tech Leads.
• Partner closely with Product Management to execute the product roadmap.
• Drive architectural decisions that improve scalability,reliabilityand performance.
• Champion modern software engineering practices, cloudtechnologiesand DevOps.
• Ensure engineering decisions balance customer value, technicalqualityand long-term maintainability.
• Build an engineering culture focused on collaboration,ownershipand continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience leading software engineering teams within SaaS.
• Strong technical background with experience in software architecture.
• Experience managing Engineering Managers or Technical Leads.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and modern engineering practices.
• Ability to influence technical direction without being hands‑on day-to-day.
• Excellent leadership,communicationand stakeholder management skills.
• Experience building and scaling engineering organisations.

Technical Background

• Experience with cloud technologies and modern web architectures is important. Previous experience with PHP or AWS is beneficial but not essential —we’re looking for someone with broad architectural expertise who can quickly understand and guide the existing technology stack rather than a hands‑on specialist.

Nice to Have

• Experience within eCommerce, marketplace technologies, PIM, PXM or digital commerce platforms.
• Experience leading post‑acquisition or scaling engineering organisations.
• Experience working with distributed engineering teams.
• Fluent French speaking.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years’ experience in software engineering.
• Several years in engineering leadership positions.
